People hold a special place in their hearts for Christmas because it combines cherished traditions, warm memories, and joyful celebrations. It’s a heartwarming time that brings families closer, inspires kindness through giving, and fills the air with beautiful lights, melodies, and delicious aromas. This festive season offers a sweet break from our daily routines and gently reminds us of love, hope, and the importance of community bonds. It’s a joyful time when we connect with others, share happiness, and create lasting memories. Seeing loved ones happy and content truly makes everything brighter.

At MacCare, with Care Centres in Nelspruit, Polokwane, Somerset West, Tzaneen, and White River, we’re grateful for the amazing people who share their love through acts of kindness and service, making our Christmas Celebrations even more special.

Thinking of Queen Elizabeth II’s words: “For many, Christmas is also a time for coming together. But for others, service will come first.”

From all of us at MacCare, a heartfelt Merry Christmas and to all the kind and caring souls who show that service truly comes first, we celebrate your kindness and generosity. Thank you for making this season brighter.

An Easter High Tea With Care Buddies And MacCare In Nelspruit

NELSPRUIT

In Nelspruit, Care Buddies and Feedem reached out with open hearts, making this Christmas extra special with a heartfelt message: You are never alone, you matter, and we care deeply!

One of our wonderful residents, Mrs. Lia De Bruyn, inspired her friends to create a special ‘shoebox’ gift for our residents. The generosity and love shared were simply incredible. Along the hallway, stockings were hung with care, a festive surprise for our carers, little bundles of thanks and Christmas cheer, ready to brighten someone’s day and bring joyful smiles.

To thank all those involved, Mrs Judy Gelderblom (our Resident Committee Chairlady) handed out gifts to the loving Care Buddies and staff, on behalf of our residents.
