Easter at Macadamia Care is a time of togetherness, joy, heartfelt connection, and celebration. Our Care Centres were filled with laughter and warmth as residents and their families gathered to celebrate this special date on our calendars. From colourful arts and crafts sessions, where creativity blossomed, to lively Easter games that sparked smiles and friendly competition, every moment was about making memories that last. A special thank you to Feedem for adding their signature touch of magic, beautifully decorated tables, and a delicious Easter lunch that brought everyone together. These thoughtful details, along with the dedication of our caring staff, made our Easter celebrations special.
At Macadamia Care, we believe in cherishing every opportunity to create joy, nurture friendships, and honour the spirit of community. Thank you to everyone who made this Easter so meaningful for our residents and their loved ones. Here’s to many more moments of happiness, connection, and celebration together!

NELSPRUIT

We love the table decorations!

The joy of taking a moment to pause from our busy lives, reconnect with loved ones, share stories, and appreciate everyone around us truly makes Easter a special and meaningful time of the year.

One of our residents’ wives kindly sent Biscotti to her husband, and everyone enjoyed sharing Easter eggs. Thanks to the generous funds from our recent book sale, we also treated our residents to delightful carrot cake cupcakes!

POLOKWANE
Our residents enjoyed making these Easter bunnies. It brought back special memories from days gone by.

Food, glorious food! Thank you, Feedem!

SOMERSET WEST
Pin the Tail on the Bunny is a fun and festive Easter game where our residents get to try attaching a handmade tail onto a bunny poster while blindfolded. Inspired by the classic “Pin the Tail on the Donkey,” this version keeps everyone safe, as our carers gently assisted our residents rather than spinning them around.
As you can see, our residents carefully planned their Bunny Tails!

And so the competition started! It was fun!

WHITE RIVER
Paper plates and bunny ears make for a creative project.

Gather around the table, love is being served!

Thank you, Feedem!

Macadamia Care was originally established in the late 1990’s to provide care services to the first Macadamia Retirement Village in White River, Mpumalanga. Now, more than twenty years on, we have truly learned the value of individualised care and providing a service that is flexible and based on love and compassion. This approach has enabled Macadamia Care to expand operations into 5 retirement villages in South Africa, ie: Nelspruit, Polokwane, Somerset West (W/C), Tzaneen, and White River.
