World Egg Day was celebrated on Friday 14 October 2022.

World Egg Day was established in Vienna 1996, when it was decided to celebrate the power of the egg on the second Friday in October each year. Since then, egg fans around the world have thought up new and creative ways to honour this incredible nutrient powerhouse, and the day of celebration has grown and evolved over time.

This year, World Egg Day centered around the theme of ‘Eggs for a better life’, recognising the egg’s power to support not just human health outcomes, but planetary health and people’s livelihoods too.

Here at Macadamia Care in Polokwane, Feedem put together an EGG-ceptional event to honour the humble egg and our residents had such fun! Thank you Feedem.

Hugging the outskirts of the bustling metropolis of Polokwane, Macadamia Care offers peace in its secluded surroundings. A proverbial village with its own, very unique personality, Macadamia Care, which forms part of The Aloes Lifestyle Estate in Polokwane is modern and upmarket; it is elegant in the truest sense of the word.
