According to Wikipedia, GivingTuesday, is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States. It is touted as a “global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organisations to transform their communities and the world”.

Generosity comes in many forms and goes hand in hand with gratitude. Being grateful helps us feel positive emotions, relive happy memories, and improve our overall mental health.

For many people, it’s not always easy to demonstrate gratitude boldly, but prefer to either write it down and reflect on it, every now and then, or write a note to thank someone. For others, it’s easy to say what they are grateful for.

At MacCare in Tzaneen, Feedem and our staff hosted a Tea of Thankfulness. All the guests had the opportunity to write a “thank you “ note and to share it with us or to just keep it close to their hearts. It was truly unforgettable.
